32 bit or 64 bit - You have to choose either one and it depends on the type of Your CPU. You can check Your CPU's type, just look that up on the internet, i don't quite remember how to.

if you have a dual core processor or newer get 64bit, if not 32 bit.

32 / 64 bit 1. Check your CPU (dual core or not) 2. Check availability of drivers for your hardware in 64bit version 3. Check if u have more than 3gb ram 4. Make decision of 32/64 bit OS
Where to download? Best way is MSDN, if u have account. In the other option tpb ftw.
L2 works fine on w7, all depends on hardware/drivers.

If you have more than 3,25 GB RAM, then you should use a 64-bit OS. 32-bit Operation System can only adress max 3,25 GB to your RAM, means if you have 6 GB RAM and use a 32-bit OS, then the other 2,75 GB are useless and won't be used for the System.
64-bit can handle 128+ GB RAM and probally no normal user PC at the moment use such amout of RAM. About CPU, mostly every modern CPU is 64-bit compatible, so it shouldn't be a problem for any CPU that isn't older than 3,5 Years (AMD Athlon 64+ or Pentium D+). Also you should check your other PC Components for 64-bit Support like Printer Driver and shit.
About the Windows 7 Version, even a Windows Home Premium is enough for you. Im sure you're not in a Domain Network or use a RDP Host, Direct Access and other stuff.
